Reel Gardening has developed a product to enable and empower communities to implement their own  sustainable food projects throughout South Africa through a user-friendly and educational medium with which we hope to alleviate food shortages and promote self-sustaining communities.

We believe community gardens provide a vital element to the development of rural communities where a nutritional vegetable garden can be implemented for each Reconstruction and Development House, each school, each clinic, church and community centre. Reel Gardening would like to implement these gardens with a focus on skills transfer and sustainable development. Reel Gardening has two products for the Corporate Social Investment sector. Our ‘Garden in a Box’ is an all-in-one solution for community gardens. Our second product is smaller and can be tailored to individual projects or replicated to suit many sustainable gardening initiatives of various sizes, it is called 'The Single Bed Garden’.
